wow, it's been a while, huh? sorry about that- I've been too busy with things for a while to hop online too often. been doing a lot of thinking (what else is new?), and trying to focus on improving myself quite a bit. I keep on finding things I'd like to get back to normal, the most recent of which are finding my artistic abilities again. I dunnoh why my talent's been fading away- it started somewhere in the late winter earlier this year, and for some reason it just keeps getting worse and worse- only a little at first, but it's gotten pretty bad. used to be I'd have the urge to write almost every day and even draw every now and then, but now I'm lucky if I can get one or two writings out a month. my novel's been put on hiatus as a result. it's just strange- hope I figure it out soon, or I don't know what I'm going to do. on a lighter note though, halloween should be fun this year- me and my roommate are planning on taking a night-tour of the old Idaho penitentiary. sounds scary, huh? I'm planning on bringing my video camera along, so I'll have the whole thing on film (sure hope this doesn't turn into a blaire-witch-type situation XD) anyways, gotta run- apparently something's going on outside, talk later.

edit: ok, apparently something WAS going on outside- I won't go into details here on my public journal, so send me a note or something if you really wanna talk about it, but one busted-in door, a 911 call, and a trip to the emergency room later, let's just say my night's been much more intense than I thought it would be.

second edit: figured out my problem with writing- apparently over time, I've become more focused on my technique than on what I wanted to bring across in my art, and in doing so, I kinda lost focus of what was really important to me personally in the whole thing. so, as they say, I gotta get "back to the basics".
